I had a great experience at smiles cafe Dentistry in Huntington Beach. Dr khan is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. Deanna, the dental hygienist did an amazing job spending 2 hrs in detail cleaning.

Deanna Sweiss, BS, RDH, RDHAP
Dental Hygienist | Founder of Root + Smile
Deanna is a licensed Dental Hygienist and Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP) with a passion for compassionate, accessible oral care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental
Hygiene from Loma Linda School of Dentistry graduating cum laude with honors in 2018. During her studies, she served as head of the Mission Service Association, leading dental mission trips to underserved communities around the world. She was also the recipient of the
prestigious Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals Student Award for excellence in patient care and leadership.
In 2021, Deanna expanded her scope of practice by earning her RDHAP certification from the University of the Pacific, allowing her to provide preventive dental care independently to those with limited access to traditional dental settings.
